Growing up in Southwest Lower Michigan, I was surrounded by the outdoors and endless ground to explore. During the Fall each year my dad would take me up North to hunt deer and bear, fish and scout land on our four wheeler. During the rest of the year, he ran a 1000 acre hunt club on land right out our backdoor. That hunt club and my childhood memories of the North would shape my entire life.

Since then, my parents purchased their own farm with lots of acres to hunt and explore. We've also expanded our family trips to include the entire United States. We have explored over a dozen National Parks as a family and continue to check off our bucket list trips - spending time in the outdoors together.

The outdoors is not just a place to me, but rather an experience, an escape, the place I feel most alive. So in 2021 I decided to leave my 15 year career as a professional photographer to take on a new adventure, a dream I had put on the shelf years ago, running an apparel shop while promoting an outdoor family life.

In March of 2022 I launched our store and immediately was blown away by the support. This store is more than just a business to me, it's about connecting with other families who love to explore the outdoors together. This store is about changing the culture of the "rat race" of life, slowing down to let our children be children and for families to find an escape through the outdoors.

With the help of a community, I hope to inspire more families to breath in the fresh air of the Great Outdoors and make outdoor memories with their babies.
